Visual
and Performing Arts At RBCS
we believe all children possess talents that must be cultivated. To this
end we are committed to making sure that the arts are valued as an essential
component of the learning experience not as an extra. We ensure that our
children have exposure to both the historical and performance perspective
in dance, music, theater and visual arts. Through instruction and by taking
full advantage of the cultural opportunities in Red Bank which hosts two
fine theaters, many museums and art galleries, we provide our children with
rich artistic experiences. We also work extensively with our students to
prepare portfolios for admission to highly competitive high school programs.
Our goal is to have children aware of and value many different art forms.
Through our visual and performing arts program our children are able to
experience:Art • Instruction in art appreciation and art theory • Instruction in various artistic mediums including paint, sculpture, • Evening with the Arts • Halloween Float • Partnership with local artists Music

Bank Charter School because… I chose Red Bank Charter School because of the small class sizes and personal attention. I also like the philosophy of the school and family environment. I chose Red Bank Charter School so they could be the “big fish in the little pond”. I chose Red Bank Charter School because of the value they place on education, integrity, the well being and growth of each individual student. Their goal is excellence and achievement and to help each child to reach their full potential and to come through the Charter School as a well rounded young adult. |
