The Red Bank Charter School Admission Lottery for the 2016-17 school year will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 7:00pm in the Omni Room. Deadline to submit enrollment application is Monday, April 25, 2016 by 4:00 p.m.
All children who are residents of Red Bank who are entering grades Pre-K through 8 are eligible for admission. There are no admission criteria other than residency. Applicants are welcome to attend the lottery, but need not attend to be accepted. A letter will be mailed with notification of Lottery results.
RBCS is pleased to announce that the New Jersey Department of Education has approved the school’s proposal to provide a greater opportunity to low-income families through a weighted lottery system beginning in the 2016-17 school year enrollment season. Children who qualify for certain types of public assistance will receive a 3:2 chance of admission into the school. The objective of the weighting is to ensure that Red Bank Charter School’s student population represents a cross section of the local community’s school-aged children. Complete and return an application to Red Bank Charter School 58 Oakland Street, Red Bank, New Jersey by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016 . Applications are accepted all year.
