Social
Studies At RBCS
we empower our students to become good citizens in a global world through
our culturally rich and diverse environment. Our curriculum is uniquely
structured to foster the knowledge, values, attitudes, and skills that are
required of active, involved citizens. Tolerance and respect for the opinions
of others is stressed as a responsibility in becoming a good citizen of
a culturally diverse, democratic society. Our program also provides ample
opportunities for students to examine their attitudes and beliefs concerning
social conditions in the world today and within their community. At RBCS
we make history come alive by offering the following educational experiences:
• Monmouth Museum Visits and Traveling trunks We are also extremely proud of the fact that several of our children
applied and were accepted to attend the Young Scholars Program for African
American Students through the Schomberg Center in New York for the second
year in a row. This program is designed to empower our youth with the
knowledge of the African American culture and to guide them toward optimal
achievement, and social and professional success. |
I chose Red
Bank Charter School because… I chose Red Bank Charter School because it gives my children an exceptional, nurturing, challenging environment to learn and grow – both academically and as a person. It’s a blessing. I chose Red Bank Charter School because of the value they place on education, integrity, the well being and growth of each individual student. Their goal is excellence and achievement and to help each child to reach their full potential and to come through the Charter School as a well rounded young adult. Small classes that offer a structured environment with strong emphasis on family values and family involvement. |
